Refund and Returns Policy

MarketConnex is a platform that connects buyers with independent sellers. As such, all purchases made through our platform are subject to the individual refund and return policies of the respective sellers.

General Policy

Each seller on MarketConnex sets their own policies regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds. Before making a purchase, we encourage you to review the seller’s specific refund and return terms, which can typically be found on the seller’s store page or product listing. If the seller has not clearly outlined their policy, please contact them directly through the platform for clarification.

Return Eligibility

Return eligibility—including time frames, product conditions, and packaging requirements—is determined by the seller. Some sellers may offer returns within a certain number of days, while others may not accept returns at all, especially on perishable, intimate, digital, or personalised goods.

Non-Returnable Items

While policies vary, the following items are commonly non-returnable across most sellers:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers)
  • Digital downloads or software
  • Intimate or sanitary products
  • Hazardous materials or flammable items
  • Gift cards
  • Personal care items

Refunds

If you have requested a return and it has been approved by the seller, your refund will be processed by the seller according to their stated timelines. MarketConnex does not process or issue refunds directly.

If you have questions about the status of your refund, we recommend:

  1. Contacting the seller directly via your order page.
  2. Checking your payment method for any pending credits.
  3. Contacting your bank or payment provider for more information.

Exchanges

Exchange policies vary by seller. If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact the seller as soon as possible to discuss exchange options. Sellers may require photo documentation and may or may not cover return shipping costs.

Gifts

If your item was purchased as a gift, refund or exchange options are also subject to the seller’s policy. Please contact the seller to understand what options are available.

Shipping Returns

If a return is approved by the seller, you will typically be responsible for return shipping unless stated otherwise by the seller. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service for higher-value items, as MarketConnex is not responsible for items lost during return shipping.
